Will it work on my phone?
On iPhone: Settings → General → About, and scroll to EID. If there is an EID, your phone takes eSIMs. Every iPhone from the XS (2018) onwards does.
On Android: Settings → About phone → Status, and look for EID. If there is an EID, your phone takes eSIMs. Most Galaxy S20, Pixel 3 and later do.
It also has to be carrier-unlocked. If you bought it outright or your contract is over, it almost certainly is.

Brussels to London is under two hours, and the United Kingdom is outside the EU roaming rules since Brexit: your operator decides what it charges there. The tunnel itself has no coverage worth using, and once you are out on the English side your phone attaches to a British network. If you cross often, check what your tariff charges for the UK.
Which eSIM works in Belgium?
A Belgium eSIM runs on the local networks, Proximus (5G), Orange (4G), Base (4G). Data only: your usual number stays on your own SIM. A Belgium plan does not cover the UK.
