Will it work on my phone?

On iPhone: Settings → General → About, and scroll to EID. If there is an EID, your phone takes eSIMs. Every iPhone from the XS (2018) onwards does.

On Android: Settings → About phone → Status, and look for EID. If there is an EID, your phone takes eSIMs. Most Galaxy S20, Pixel 3 and later do.

It also has to be carrier-unlocked. If you bought it outright or your contract is over, it almost certainly is.

What you get, and what happens if it fails

  • Data only The eSIM carries internet, not calls or text messages. That is what makes it cheap.
  • You keep your own number The eSIM is a second line. Your usual SIM stays in the phone, so calls and your bank's security codes still reach you. Turn data roaming off on that line so it does not spend anything.
  • WhatsApp and Telegram work They run over the internet and stay tied to your usual number, which never leaves the phone.
  • Share it with your laptop The hotspot works the same as with any data plan, as long as your phone allows one.

Who is behind this

A person, not a call centre

Snoozim is run from Barcelona by Ibai Guirado Vera. It exists because paying for roaming by the day on a short trip made no sense. If something goes wrong with your eSIM you write, and the same person who built this answers you, within 24 hours.
